Welcome

I INVITE YOU to rejoice with me as we launch our Grow & Renew campaign for St. Mark’s. This campaign is for everyone to be proud of and join in. We all belong to a uniquely inclusive, welcoming and dynamic church community. Our vibrancy makes St. Mark’s a sanctuary of hope and learning, prayer and connection. We are rooted in the love of God that is revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which shows forth in our multicultural, multigenerational faces and hands that offer welcome and service to our neighbors. Our worship combines the beauty of tradition with relevance, tears, laughter, and the hope of God’s Kingdom come near. Children gather at our altar to ring bells that joyfully proclaim Jesus’ presence now, not just with us but the whole world. We belong to a community that draws us together, to love and invest it in for ourselves, our children and the generations ahead. With greater accessibility and investment in our ministries and facilities, we will show our love and hope to our community, newcomers and the next generation. This is the work of Easter people. Alleluia!

LORD OF MERCY AND GOODNESS, we thank you for the abundant gifts you have bestowed on St. Mark’s Church, showing us how to be a blessing to all people. O God, keep our hearts true to Your vision for St. Mark’s and guide our work to ensure the future of this holy place. Holy Spirit, as we reflect on Your presence in the life of this church and in our own lives, we ask You to bless, direct, and inspire our leadership, campaign team, and donors with courage and determination for the work ahead, so that St. Mark’s may serve as a beacon of Your Light to all who search for it. We are Your hands. In Christ, may we come together in prayer and in service as we Grow and Renew our church for the future. AMEN.
